Chicken with Cashews
Ingredients (serves 2): |
half a pound of raw chicken
3 ounces salted cashews
1 small carrot
1 tsp salt

1 tbsp Chinese cooking wine 1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp vinegar
1/2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp flour 4 tbsp oil
3 cloves of garlic
5 quarter-sized slices of ginger |
Directions:
(1) Cut the chicken and carrots into small square pieces. (2) Put the chicken in a bowl and mix with salt and flour. (3) Cut garlic and ginger into small slices. (4) Mix sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, chinese cooking wine, and flour into a bowl. ( Set aside )
(6) Put the oil in the wok and turn on burner high. After oil gets hot, add chicken and stir vigorously over heat. (7) Add carrots and the spices. (8) After chicken has cooked add cashews and stir again. (8) Turn off the heat and empty wok onto serving plate. You're done!
